7 Weeks left!!

It's crazy to think, but the January 31st due date is rapidly approaching. Baby Sophy is getting bigger and stronger, and Emily has stopped her jogging, but still likes to go for short walks and hopes to use the eliptical from time to time. As of the last doctor's appointment, Emily has gained 28 lbs and it will not stop from there! Here are some pictures of the latest creation that Emily made to help her be comfortable. She worked (with a few very helpful phone calls from her mom and some "over the phone" sewing lessons) to sew this maternity dress. Looks great!!

Baby's Room

Troy, his brother Tyler, our neighbor Abe, and Emily on small parts helped to put this beautiful room together in about 2 days time. Not too bad for not having much experience with beadboard paneling, chair rail, or wall paper borders. Emily made the matching curtain/valance you'll see on the window. The clothes you will see in the crib at the end of the pictures are from the Gerber family baby shower. Sophy will be a spoiled baby soon!

Still movin'!

Pregnant Em says: "Got to keep on movin'!" as she gets out most mornings to exercise (walk and small spurts of jogging). It's getting colder now, so she's trying to use their Eliptical machine while Troy is in class instead.

Gerber Halloween Party

Here are some pictures from our Halloween party with Troy's twin, Tyler and his wife Becca. Becca and Emily made a festive Halloween meal while they confined the men to the computer room to prepare for the "scary but romantic" festivity.

Nursery is getting ready for action!

Here are some pictures for the soon to be Gerber Baby(TM). Troy has big plans for the painting, chair-rail, and beadboard of the room. Soon to come! For now, here is some of the Wal-mart furniture that was purchased in "Nursery in a box." Quite the marketing scheme. Works for us!

Here's some pregnant Mamma pictures. The one on the left is 4 months. The one on the right is 6 months. We found out we'll be having a girl. She is starting to kick quite a bit! We think she'll be running with Mamma Emily in no time!

Gerbers go on vacation!

Recently, Troy, Emily (baby Gerber), Trisha (Troy's sister), LeAnn (Troy's mom), and Duane (Troy's dad) went on a rockin' vacation touring all historic sites from Palmyra, NY to Carthage, Ill. This is a picture from Niagra Falls. Boy did we get hosed!
